Let’s be honest—most of us don’t think about our immune system until we’re sneezing and reaching for tissues. But your immune system works 24/7 to protect you from germs, and there are simple ways you can give it a helping hand.
Get Enough Sleep: Did you know that sleep is like recharging your immune system? Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep every night. Poor sleep can make your body less effective at fighting off viruses.
Learn more about the connection between sleep and immunity here.
Eat a Rainbow: No, not candy! Load up on colorful fruits and veggies, which are packed with vitamins like C and E to support your immune cells.
Stay Active: Regular exercise (even a brisk walk) keeps your immune system strong by improving blood flow and reducing inflammation.
Stress Less: Chronic stress can suppress your immune system. Practice relaxation techniques like deep breathing or yoga to keep stress in check.
Stay Hydrated: Water helps your body flush out toxins and keeps your cells working properly. So drink up!
By taking small steps daily, you’ll give your immune system the boost it needs to keep you healthy all year round.

An exceptional example of what a clinic should be! The Dr was on time, took time to go over everything and explained what course of action was necessary. Let me ask all the questions I needed and did not hurry me. The front office staff was friendly and very efficient and made you feel comfortable. I know I chose the right place to go to!

Dr. Chug cares a great deal for his patients. I have come a long way. I did not need more inhalers or medication. He recommended I go to a center that would teach me how to exercise, sit, bend over and breathe properly. I can now walk over 2 miles daily, clean my home, and run errands Yes, I still have COPD, emphysema, and lung cancer but I am more confident in my abilities. My name is Sally Stuebben and I have been a patient for almost 2 years.

Dr. Chug was one of the attending physicians for my 91 yr old father when he was in the hospital with blood clots on his lungs. His care and bedside manner was wonderful bringing my Dad home. He is now my Dad's pulmonologist for any follow-up care he may require moving forward.
